Safe for dogs and puppies 8 weeks and older
What is K9 Advantix® II?
K9 Advantix® II is a monthly topical treatment that begins working before fleas and ticks bite, protecting your dog from future infestations and unnecessary bites.
*Flea shampoos, medicated shampoos, shampoos intended for humans, and dish detergents are not recommended.
How does it work?
K9 Advantix® II is applied to the skin along the dog's back. From there, it spreads evenly in a thin layer across the skin's surface and binds to the dog's skin oils rather than being absorbed. When parasites like fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, and lice come into contact with the skin of a treated dog, their nervous system is affected. Parasites quickly lose coordination and die. K9 Advantix® II works upon contact, and parasites do not need to feed on your pet to be killed. Reducing bites ensures your pet's well-being and can help prevent the transmission of diseases.
How to apply it on your dog
K9 Advantix® II comes in a pre-measured applicator tube based on your dog's weight. It spreads easily on the skin to provide contact protection against fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, and lice across the entire body. Apply the entire contents of the tube. Do not rub it in; let it dry naturally.
Never use K9 Advantix® II on cats.
Ingredients: imidacloprid, permethrin, pyriproxyfen
Imidacloprid 8.8%, permethrin 44%, pyriproxyfen 0.44%.
Bayer K9 Advantix® II eliminates fleas, ticks, and lice on dogs within 24 hours of treatment and continues to protect against infestations for at least 4 weeks. K9 Advantix® II also reduces mosquito and stable fly bites and kills mosquitoes.
Dogs over 8 weeks old: Apply the entire contents of the applicator tube evenly along the top of the back (6 to 8 spots), from the shoulders to the base of the tail. Treatments should be administered monthly to ensure optimal control and prevention of flea and tick infestations. If retreatment becomes necessary, a 7-day interval is required before applying the next treatment.
